Illinois State Fair

The Illinois State Fair opens Aug. 8 and runs through Aug. 18. Craig McFarland from the Beyond the Mouse podcast sat down with Rebecca Clark the Illinois State Fair manager to discuss the upcoming events including Fairytales on Ice and the Jonas Brothers concert.

The Stay and Play promotion requires purchase of a state fair admission book.

The fair runs August 8-18 at the state fairgrounds in Springfield.

The concert is set for Aug. 16.

The show is scheduled for August 15.

Tickets go on sale this weekend.

Davis, who has had six #1 hits will headline the grandstand on Aug. 13.

The band is the first announced grandstand show for the 2024 fair.

Grandstand ticket sales and the return of the multi-purpose arena attracted more fairgoers.

The former president was present on signage, but rarely in speeches.
