A 16-year old is being charged as an adult. A petition has been filed to charge a 15-year old in adult court.

Springfield police said the gatherings pose a risk to public health, can disrupt neighborhoods and infringe upon the peace of the community.

The two are credited with helping a suicidal individual earlier this month.
