Grab-a-Java Artfully Supports NPR Illinois

Thanks to Grab-a-Java for welcoming listeners during this spring's fund drive.  NPR Illinois is honored to be a sign of the times!

Folks who travel to downtown Springfield have likely noticed the unique art installation marking Grab-a-Java. For years, owner Peter Lazzare has created new art and mounted it to be funny, make social comment, and/or to bring attention to his drive-through coffee business.  The shop is located at 1702 South Sixth Street.

If you happen to find a selfie with the art irresistable, email it to us at engage@nprillinois.org and we'll add it to the slide show on this post!

Randy Eccles enjoys talking with community members and joining them in becoming informed citizenry. Please reach out at randy.eccles@nprillinois.org.
