NPR Illinois' Community Voices celebrated one year of talking to local businesses, artists, bakers, writers, and more from our community in October. It's the new year, and now it's time for a new sound and look! NPR Illinois is seeking talented, local artists and musicians to participate in the Community Voices Theme Song & Logo Contest. Artists can use any medium for their works, but your logo must somehow explain some element of Community Voices (Getting to know the gems in our community!)
Artists/musicians have until 11:59 PM February 15, 2022 to submit their work for the contest. The contest is open to any Illinois artists over the age of 18. Participants may enter one contest or both. Read the entry rules and requirements here and click here to submit your entry.
All entries will be judged by NPR Illinois staff. The chosen artist and musician will be notified by February 22, 2022. Chosen artists will receive $600 worth of on air announcements and a Community Voices interview. The new logo and theme song will be revealed to the public in March 2022.
