We're more than halfway through Earth Week. At the University of Illinois Springfield, there are still events planned.
On Thursday, an Earth Week Fair featuring more than one dozen organizations will take place at the Colonnade from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. There will be information, activities and giveaways.
On Friday, the dedication of the UIS Community Garden happens on the north side of the Shepherd House on Shepherd Road. From 9.a.m. - 1 p.m. there is a work party and lunch. Find out more about the garden at it's Facebook page.
