Marcus Johnson,  quality assurance research and reporting officer at the Springfield Urban League, joins Bea Bonner civil rights and community organization's efforts. Their mission is to enable those who struggle to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power, and civil rights through empowerment in civic engagement, social justice, economy, workforce, education, youth, health, and quality of life.

Marcus Johnson is a nonprofit executive with experience in community development, service, organizational leadership and communication. He has a doctorate from Creighton along with degrees from Southern Illinois University and Tuskegee University.
