Transforming Lives Together: Investing in Justice & Wellness - Nov. 21
Join TASC for a Community Event in Springfield!
TASC (Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities) invites you to a special community event on Thursday, November 21st, from 10:30am to 12:00pm at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library. This free event offers community members the chance to learn about TASC’s vital work in helping individuals overcome substance use and mental health challenges, reducing crime, and building stronger families.
For over 40 years, TASC has been dedicated to keeping families together and creating healthier, safer, and more just communities by connecting people with the resources they need to rebuild their lives. During the event, TASC’s President and CEO, Joel K. Johnson, will deliver a presentation about the organization’s mission and impact, including efforts to decrease overdoses, increase treatment for substance use disorders, and promote family stability. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage directly with TASC executives and local staff to learn more about services available in the Joliet area.
A continental breakfast will be served, and there will be plenty of time for networking and discussions with our team. Whether you’re interested in our services or want to learn more about how we support individuals and families, we welcome you to join us!
