5K Race

Brandon Damm is organizing the fourth annual Rock & Run for Mental Health at Rochester Community Park Pavilion on September 7, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon. The Fat Ass 5K is an annual race in Springfield which raises money for multiple charities. The race is known for its participants who dress in costumes and the multiple entertainment stops along the race route. Larry Johnson, one of the event's organizers, visited Community Voices to talk about the race and shared the event's history.
