Blake E. Roderick is the Executive Director of the Pike and Scott County Farm Bureaus and Two Rivers Farm Bureau Foundation. He earned a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University.

He is a director of the Mid-America Intermodal Port Authority District on the Mississippi and Illinois rivers. He is on the Board of Directors of the National Waterways Conference. He serves on the 25x’25 Illinois Renewable Energy Alliance. He also is a member of the Illinois Comptroller’s Rural Affairs Advisory Council as well as other advisory groups.

He has served as Chairman of the Board of Illini Community Health Care System, Illini Community Hospital, and IHS Pharmacy; Vice-Chairman, BlessingCare Corporation; and a board member of the Illini Community Health Care Foundation, Pittsfield Public Library, and other community groups.

Blake is a graduate of the Illinois Agricultural Leadership Foundation program and a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow.

Blake and his wife Betsy live in Pittsfield, Illinois in a historic house built in 1847 with ties to Abraham Lincoln. They have four children.

The NPR Illinois Community Advisory Board (CAB) met in Chicago and connected by videoconference to Springfield. The primary purposes of the meeting were to welcome new advisory board members who begin their new terms on July 1, 2018 and to provide input about whether NPR Illinois’ programming and policies meet the specialized educational and cultural needs of the community it serves.
