The Iguanas are a New Orleans conflux of indigenous North American music. The band's roots rock backbone is defined by a fusion of conjunto, blues, jazz, and R&B. Over the past 25 years the group has withstood the test of time with each of it's original members intact. This alone is a testament to the passion they have for recording and performing alongside one another.
During this enduring stretch The Iguanas have produced eight studio albums and performed at festivals and venues across the country. With a sound planted in such a diverse heritage of American music, it is clear as to how The Iguanas have found steady success on stages across the region.

Today, the bilingual band continues to grace the stages of The Big Easy. Equipped with an extensive discography a new experience can be offered each time locals and visitors attend their shows. One such experience can soon be heard in Springfield, IL this coming April, as The Iguanas make their way up the Mississippi to NPR Illinois' Bedrock 66 Live! series.

Bedrock 66 Live! recorded shows air the first Sunday of each month 5-6 PM.
