The Capital Area Concert Band will present a concert at the Trutter Center on the campus of Lincoln Land Community College April 28, 2026 at 7PM. Music will include "The Billboard March", "Eldorado", "The Girl in Satin" and "Largo" from Dvorak's "New World Symphony". Celebrating America's 250th anniversary, the band will be performing several patriotic medleys. And finally, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Route 66, the band will be performing the road's theme song, "Route 66". The band is under the direction of Harry Hild. The concert is free and open to the public.
