Henson Robinson Zoo

Animal care staff will continue to monitor the newborns to ensure they are being well cared for by their mother.

The zoo is always a staple for fond childhood memories, and the Henson Robinson Zoo is keeping that tradition alive with their upcoming trick-or-treat event for all ages, Zoolie Ghoulie. Kirst Montgomery, the zoo's education coordinator, sat down with co-host Logan Bricker to talk not only about the fun to be had but also the opportunities for learning about the animals themselves, conservation efforts, and new ways to respect the nature we inhabit.

“Wolverines are quite rare in zoos, and the Henson Robinson Zoo is one of maybe 6 zoos in the United States to exhibit them," says Director Doug Hotle.

Doug Hotle is the new director of the Henson Robinson Zoo. He spoke to Community Voices about his background working with reptiles and exotic animals. He also shared what he is looking forward to at the zoo.
