Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot proposed a budget this week. The city's path to greater financial health runs through Springfield, but will the General Assembly come through?

Plus Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced billions in construction spending. He also warned of billions in future deficits — at least that what his budget office sees for Illinois if voters do not approve a constitutional amendment that would allow for a graduated income tax.

Sean Crawford hosts with regular panelists Charlie Wheeler and Brian Mackey, and guests Heather Cherone of The Daily Line and Doug Finke of GateHouse Media and The State Journal-Register.
