Toby Keith, Buddy Guy To Play Governor's Inaugural Concert

TobyKeith.com

Country singer Toby Keith will headline a concert celebrating Gov.-elect Bruce Rauner's inauguration.

Rauner on Monday announced the lineup for the Jan. 12 concert. It also includes blues artist Buddy Guy and the Boat Drink Caucus, a trio of state legislators.

The concert at the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield is part of
a series of events marking the Winnetka Republican's inauguration. He announced
earlier this month the concert will replace the traditional inaugural ball.

Tickets for the concert are $125.

Keith's hits include ``Should've Been a Cowboy'' and ``How Do You Like Me Now?"

Guy is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and a pioneer of Chicago blues.

Rauner will take the oath of office earlier in the day Jan. 12, replacing Gov.
Pat Quinn.
