The City of Springfield announced it will conduct extended severe weather siren testing Tuesday morning to ensure system reliability.
The testing will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. It will last longer than routine tests. During this period, residents may also hear sirens sounding in repeated cycles.
Residents are encouraged to share the information to prevent confusion or concern.
