The news department is seeking part-time fill-in anchor/reporters who are available either weekdays from 5:30 to 9 a.m. and/or 3:30 to 6 p.m. Apply by June 5, 5 p.m.

Here & Now anchor Jeremy Hobson joins NPR Illinois in Springfield to discuss his background in journalism and the upcoming state and national elections Monday, September 10t, 2018.  Hobson also participates in a question and answer session with the audience. 

Nice earned her B.A in Communications from UIS. She has been creating measurable results in managing corporate communications, fundraising, advertising, external affairs, community relations, government relations, marketing and media for over 15 years.
Jeremy is a trusted journalist to public radio listeners and stations, having spent ten years hosting Marketplace Morning Report, Here & Now, and NPR Special Coverage of major news events.

Lizzie Roehrs is a graduate of the University of Illinois in Springfield. Her work is featured in the Community Voices program for NPR Illinois. Her passion is human interest stories.
