During the Vietnam war, the United States used a deadly chemical codenamed Agent Orange in a de-forestation campaign. The collateral damage of this has lasted for generations, but few people know about how the chemicals comprising Agent Orange were then used in the United States commercially to devastating consequences. This is the subject of the new documentary "The People vs. Agent Orange." Director Alan Adelson and documentary subject Carol Van Strum recently sat down with the Network's Jeremy Goeckner to discuss the film and the importance of speaking out even when all hope seems lost.
