During the two-year budget impasse, many mental health service providers were forced to close their doors or cut back on services. Now advocates want to bring back the focus to treatment and increase funding. 

We spoke to Heather O'Donnell, senior vice president of public policy and advocacy at Thresholds, a provider of mental health services in the Chicagoland area. O'Donnell explains the need for mental health funding in the state.
