Ohio Restaurant Reshapes To Survive The Coronavirus Shutdown

Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson checks back in with Jessica Parkinson, co-owner of the restaurant Salt, in Lakewood, Ohio.

Salt had to close its doors a month ago after Gov. Mike DeWine ordered bars and restaurants to close to the public and serve only takeout or delivery. Since then, Parkinson and her partner have revamped their menu and service to offer touchless curbside pickup, so they could rehire some staff and keep their business going.
