Where The U.S. Stands On Guantanamo Bay, 1 Year Into Trump Administration

Forty-one detainees remain at Guantanamo Bay. Their futures, as well as the future of the controversial detention center for terrorism suspects, is still uncertain. President Trump says he intends to keep it open, though he has yet to send the prison any new detainees.
