Spiritual Springfield Couple Travel For Unique Experiences

Carley Mattimore and John Malan

Springfield couple John Malan and Carley Mattimore have an interesting background when it comes to their belief systems. Carley has a background in psychotherapy and John has retired from a career in computers. They've traveled the world on journeys related to their spirituality, and they started their own organization, called the Ahara Spiritual Community.

They joined Rachel Otwell to talk about two of their most recent trips.  John has recently returned from a "shamanic" workshop in North Carolina - we'll find out what that means. We talked to them as they prepared to head to South Africa earlier this month for an event centered on an endangered species of white lion:
