Three-year-old Karen Mosley was selected as Auburn's princess Snowflake, along with Prince Tiny Tim portrayed by Robert McCarthy, also age 3.  The couple will adorn the town's Christmas parade the next afternoon

The Illinois State Register reminds readers that their Friend-In-Deed gift will help needy children have a happier Christmas

In Dick West's op-ed he bemoans the ever increasing number of Christmas cards received & sent each year... and ponders the repercussions of withdrawing entirely from the ritual.

Walter Winchell notes a couple signs that Christmas is coming - Broadway hustlers peddling phony French perfume & silly yuletide song titles, such as “I want a snake for Christmas.”

The traditional Hanging of the Greens ceremony by the YWCA will take place this weekend, along with a Christmas Dance at the Washington Park pavilion.

That's the WUIS Christmas Archives for Tuesday... December 3rd.  I'm Rich Bradley.
