As we celebrate and remember the brave men and women who have given the fullest measure of devotion in protection of our country, we welcome back our good friend and veteran Jay Hoffman and fellow veterans John Mizer and Ian Flug to talk what is undoubtedly one of the best war and overall movies of all time: 1998's Saving Private Ryan.

We at the Front Row send our sincerest thanks to all the brave servicemen and women who defend our country every day. And we remember those who gave the last full measure of devotion to keep our country safe. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

In an age of glamorous movie stars, Doris Day stood out form the rest. Whether it be in her girl-next-door looks or completely disarming and genuine charm, Doris Day forged a path for herself that only gives her one legitimate label: Legend. Our own Brandon Davis remembers her amazing life.

The Girl on the Train. Suicide Squad. Bridget Jones's Baby.

These are the movies showing now at a theater near you.

Throughout October, a handful of theaters are taking one night each to screen a smaller-budget film with much narrower appeal, starring Michael Madigan. Amanda Vinicky went to a screening last week at the Legacy Theater in Springfield.

(This post has been updated to reflect that a parody of the film is back online)
