Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx personally filed paperwork that led to vacating and expunging the marijuana convictions of more than 1,000 people.
Gov. J.B. Pritkzer, who joined her at the courthouse, says it's first round of many thousands more to come.
Meanwhile, Pritzker put $5 million into a political action committee advocating for voter approval of a graduated income tax, and he talked about his agenda for the legslative session set to begin in January.
