Mario is a Bolivian-American that has lived in the Springfield, IL area since 1999. He is a dog lover, a new member of the Dad’s Club, a soccer fanatic. He is fluent in Spanish. Sometimes he is a tropical dance instructor and used to host a Latin music radio show at the Capital Area Career Center - 88.3 WQNA in Springfield.
He attended high school in Cochabamba-Bolivia. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Springfield in 2010 and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Management Information Systems.
He is a supporter of public radio and avid listener of NPR Illinois.
