A woman in Illinois takes advantage of early voting in Sangamon County on Thursday. Voters in nearly every county can begin casting ballots for the November election, either at early voting locations or via mail-in ballot.

Polls are open in Illinois and voters will vote for more than just president
There are a few non-binding questions on the statewide ballot
A new analysis from Tufts show youth voter registration is lower than in past years
Some groups will be in and around polling places to make sure things go smoothly at the polls
Some Illinois Republicans saying, "I told you so," when it comes to Illinois' budget
