Business Report: Sangamon Wind Farm Update; Ads On Bike Trails; MacArthur Boulevard Project

In the discussion this week, there's news about the Sangamon Wind Farm, first announced in 2009 for western Sangamon County. It could be revived.  American Wind Energy Management of Springfield has sold a Logan County project to Apex Clean Energy of Virginia and is in talks to do the same for the Sangamon County project.

Advertising could be coming to bike trail near you.  Plans are being considered to allow businesses within a mile of local path paths to buy sponsorships with the money going toward trail maintenance.

MacArthur Boulevard study: It's a year or two overdue, but IDOT will outline possible changes to MacArthur between South Grand and Wabash at a Thursday public meeting at South Side Christian Church. The work ranges from simply patching it up to widening the boulevard between Laurel and South Grand

Lawmakers discuss changes to the ethanol tax break.  Farmers are pushing for it, but gas stations aren't so sure.
