NPR Illinois' Sean Crawford talks with Tim Landis, Business Editor of the State Journal-Register.

On this week's Business Report, we discuss:

* The State of the fairgrounds: The Rauner Administration says there is a $180M backlog of repairs at Springfield-Du Quoin and no capital bill to pay for them.

* Esquire landscaping fight: MacArthur Boulevard Association, neighborhood groups pushing for more than the minimum; Dollar General has agreed, they're working on Ruler Foods, though consensus is that city landscape requirements are too weak to begin with.

* Chick-Fil-A is up and running at White Oaks Mall. The restaurant took the last open outlot there. Filling in those locations has been part of a long-term mall strategy.
