Black Lives Matter C-U Still Going Strong - An Update

Evelyn Reynolds, center - chaper leader of BLM in Champaign-Urbana

Champaign-Urbana is the only city in Illinois, other than Chicago, to have an official chapter of the Black Lives Matter organization. Evelyn Reynolds has been heading it.

Reynolds recently contributed to an effort looking at 'Black Futures' during what's commonly referred to as Black History Month. Her essay is part of a series hosted by Huffington Post and is called, In America, Aging While Black Takes Solidarity, Activism And MagicReynolds also discusses plans for a Black Lives Matter Champaign-Urbana Youth Council.
