CLASSICS: Gigi

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer

It's Oscar season and Front Row Classics is taking a look at the Best Picture winner of 1958: Gigi. The movie was the winner of our Best Picture poll on our Facebook page back in February. This original film musical won 9 Oscars and is famous for its melodic score and gorgeous sets & costumes. Yet, our hosts explore the outdated plot and archaic themes which hold the film back from aging well. Allison Means joins Brandon and Eric for what may be our most polarizing episode yet.

Brandon Davis is the host of Classics and Zone-i-Sodes on the Front Row Network. A true fan of cinema history, Brandon holds the distinction of being the official film historian of the Network.
