63rd International Carillon Festival 2025
Join us this Memorial Day weekend for the 63rd International Carillon Festival, held at the Thomas Rees Memorial Carillon in beautiful Washington Park, Springfield, Illinois. The festival runs from Thursday, May 22, through Sunday, May 25, 2025, and features a lineup of international and local talent.
This year’s carillonists:

• Wim Van den Broeck (Belgium)

This year’s local musicians:
• Springfield Municipal Band
• The Mother Road Bones Trombone Quartet
• FourSquared Wind Ensemble
• The Trinity Wind Ensemble
Special this year a bookreading by former Springfield resident D.R. Ransdell on Saturday evening, May 24 at 5:30 PM
Evening Schedule (Daily):
• 6:00 PM – Live performances by local musicians
• 6:30 PM & 7:15 PM – Carillon concerts
Friday Night Special – May 23:
Experience the carillon arrangement of Georg F. Händel’s Music for the Royal Fireworks, leading directly into Springfield’s annual fireworks display.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and love of music for this unforgettable holiday weekend event. All performances are free and open to the public.
