WUIS is partnering with actor and renowned Abraham Lincoln impersonator Fritz Klein, the enduring and creative local director Phil Funkenbusch, and treasured Illinois playwright and author Ken Bradbury for a unique and engaging evening celebrating the arts. And you're invited!
Come see a performance of the one-man show titled "The Last Full Measure" - it explores what Abraham Lincoln may have been thinking around the time of his death. A panel discussion including Klein, Funkenbusch, and Bradbury will follow the play, which is about 35 minutes. The play and discussion will be taped for a later broadcast.
THE EVENT KICKS OFF AT THE WUIS SUGGS STUDIO AT 5:30 PM ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 8th.
Seating is limited, the event is FREE - Register to attend.
The event takes place at WUIS studios, on the campus of the University of Illinois Springfield. CLICK HERE for a link to a map. We are in the WUIS building, building 1. Park in lot B - across from the YMCA soccer fields.
We can't wait to see you!
