opbmusic Presents: Blind Pilot

The Portland, Ore., band Blind Pilot made its first appearance at Pickathon in 2014. After several years spent making a name in the Portland area — and touring behind its first two records, including a famous tour by bicycle down the length of the West Coast in 2009 — Blind Pilot has settled back into the coastal town of Astoria, Ore., and expanded into a sextet with the addition of vibraphone and trumpet. We picked "White Apple," with its wistful midsummer sweetness, to close our series of video premieres from 2014's Woods Stage.

Pickathon runs from July 31 to August 2 at Pendarvis Farm near Portland. Watch a live video stream from this year's festival on opbmusic.org starting Friday at 12:40 p.m. PT.
