A prize flier from a dealership under the Leader Automotive umbrella was one example of deceptive practices the group used to lure in customers to buy cars. A suit was filed against the group on Thursday by the Illinois Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission. It laid out numerous allegations of fraud, deception and other practices used to sell cars to customers at higher prices than advertised.
