Molly Berendt, executive director of Compass for Kids, joins Bea Bonner discussing how all children in the community should experience success and be assisted in reaching their full potential. Compass for Kids does this by providing academic and social-emotional support to empower at-risk children and families.

Molly Berendt has been with Compass for Kids since 2012, first as a program director, now as executive director. Prior to that she was with the Girl Scouts of Central Illinois. Molly has degrees from the University of Illinois Springfield and Saint Louis University.
