Civil Rights Veteran On Why She Opposes Renaming The Edmund Pettus Bridge

The death of civil rights icon John Lewis has focused new attention on efforts to rename the Edmund Pettus Bridge, the site of 1965’s Bloody Sunday March. But some civil rights veterans, including Lynda Lowrey, oppose renaming the bridge.

Here & Now’s Robin Young speaks with Lowrey about the movement to rename the bridge.
