If One Founding Father Had His Way, We'd Celebrate Independence On A Different Day

Americans will celebrate Independence Day on Wednesday this year, to mark the Continental Congress approving the text of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.

But as Here & Now‘s Alex Ashlock (@aashlock) reports, at least one founding father wanted to celebrate on July 2 instead.
