Cinematic chamber folk ensemble, Verviers, will perform at the Hoogland Center for the Arts on Thursday, April 23rd, at 7pm. The group blends classical, folk and film score elements with indie rock and shoegaze. Think slowdive writing a spaghetti western soundtrack - at a Bach recital. And fans of Mac DeMarco, Kurt Vile and Guided by Voices will be delighted, as Decatur’s lo-fi darlings, Marble Teeth, join the lineup for the evening.
