World Affairs Council of Central Illinois (WACCI) presents: The Panama Canal, Tariffs and More - What Does It All Mean? - Feb 26

The Speaker at the February program will be Ambassador Edward O'Donnell who retired after 33 years with the U.S. Foreign Service serving in Latin America, German-speaking Europe and other senior positions in Washington D.C. He was the negotiating Ambassador for an Economic Charter for the Americas and served in Panama twice. Ambassador O'Donnell will discuss his experiences in Panama and share his insights on events associated with the Panama Canal. An economist by trade, Ambassador O'Donnell will also discuss tariffs and other current foreign policy issues. Come prepared for an enjoyable evening of stimulating conversation and a delicious buffet of Panamanian food.
