Preventing Genocide: Lessons from the Past - World Affairs Council of Central Illinois - Oct. 22

Ambassador Edward O'Donnell will share his experiences working on the issues of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity. He will also discuss Russia's management of the war in Ukraine and IDF military strategy in Gaza. His distinguished Foreign Service career included positions in German-speaking Europe, Latin America and Afghanistan. He served as the U.S. Ambassador and Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues from 2003-2006.
