Rochester man found safe in New York

Rochester Police

A Rochester man who has been missing was located in New York Thursday. Rochester Police say D’Carlos Benton, 29, was found at Niagara Falls. They added he is safe and in contact with his family.

Benton was reported missing after last being seen August 15 walking toward Springfield. Authorities said he suffered from a traumatic brain injury.

Efforts to find him included sharing his photo on social media.
