The Scene was our Illinois arts & culture podcast through 2017. Halloween is this Saturday, and as such there is a plethora of events in the area to help you celebrate. The Scene is here to tell you about the stand-outs:

Events discussed this week include:

  • The Audki Quartet is playing a "spooky" set at Lime St. Cafe in Springfield on Friday night. Info here.
  • Jesse James' 3rd Annual "Monster Mash Halloween Bash" with The Station, Dog Of Panic, The Complaint Line, and Enamel is this weekend. More info here.
  • The Importance of Being Earnest is opening at the UIS Theatre. Info here.
  • Rocky Horror Show, LIVE! has performances at the Hoogland this weekend. Info here.
