'Girl, Interrupted' comes to off-Broadway stage

“Girl, Interrupted” began as a bestselling memoir by Susanna Kaysen, who wrote about her time in a mental institution as a teen. Kaysen’s story became a movie starring Winona Ryder. And now, “Girl, Interrupted” is an off-Broadway musical.
