Cars battle to be heard on loud Indian streets

Indian cities are noisy. So, how does a driver get the attention of other drivers? By honking their horns, of course.

But in some cities in India, the problem is they’re often drowned out by all the clamor.

As NPR’s Omkar Khandekar reports from Mumbai, drivers are now trying to beat the noise by buying louder horns.
