IKEA Recalls Children's Swing Due To Fall Hazard

IKEA

IKEA is recalling its GUNGGUNG child swing that it sold at its stores this summer.

The furniture retailer says the suspension fittings can break causing a child to fall from the swing, posing a risk of serious injury. Four injuries have been reported since the product went on sale in August.

The company says consumers should immediately take down the swing to prevent use by children and return it to any IKEA store for a full refund. Proof of purchase is not required to receive a full refund for the return. It was sold at: IKEA stores nationwide and online at www.ikea-usa.com in August 2014 for $20.
