Mountain Stage
Caroline Rose.

Caroline Rose makes her first appearance on Mountain Stage, recorded live at the historic Keith Albee Theater in Huntington, W.Va. With a sound that draws from folk, rockabilly, pop, rock and blues, the keen-eyed singer-songwriter describes her album I Will Not Be Afraid as "postcards I've picked up from along the road."

Rose produced I Will Not Be Afraid with help from Jer Coons at his Burlington, Vt., studio, playing all the guitars, keyboards, harmonica, mandolin, drums and percussion themselves. For her Mountain Stage set, Rose plays guitar and percussion, courtesy of an old suitcase that's been fashioned into a kick drum. She's joined by Brett Lanier on pedal-steel guitar.
