The Senate's Majority Whip will isolate as he recovers from the virus

Illinois' senior U.S. Senator has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement, Senator Dick Durbin says he's experiencing mild symptoms.

The Illinois Democrat says he is fully vaccinated and double-boosted, and will continue to work remotely while he quarantines.
