US Open Gets Under Way In Pandemic

The U.S. Open tennis tournament kicked off Monday with no fans at the matches in Flushing Meadows Park in New York. Some of the world’s top players have opted out of the competition because of the pandemic.

Top seed Novak Djokovic and 2018 U.S. Open champ Naomi Osaka were among the winners on day one.
