Supreme Court Hears Arguments By Phone During Coronavirus Pandemic

The U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments by telephone beginning in May after arguments were canceled in March and April due to the coronavirus. Among the cases the court will hear are those about subpoenas of President Trump’s financial records.

NPR legal affairs correspondent Nina Totenberg speaks with Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson about what to expect this term and how the coronavirus has altered the court.
