Barb Malany is a member of the Rotary Club of Springfield Sunrise and the recent recipient of the Service Above Self Award, which of the 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide is given to no more than 150 individuals each year. She spoke to Community Voices about being one of the first women to participate in a rotary club in Springfield, and her experience providing a home to young people around the world.
